In 1932 Grossett butchers was established at Blackness road in Dundee by my grandfather David Grossett,he then opened another shop in Ann Street again in Dundee, next he moved to Watson street also in Dundee.

His sons Gilbert(my father) and my uncle Brian opened up shop at 81 Arbroath road after a few years that shop was demolished and they moved along the road to 107 Arbroath Road, next Brian opened shop at Nursery road Barnhill and Gilbert opened another shop at 146 Arbroath road while Brian opened another shop in the Keiller centre in Dundee.Next Brian opened shop in Broughty ferry.

I came into the business after I left school worked with both my dad and my uncle until they both retired and have only one shop left still at 146 Arbroath road.

We specialise in Aberdeen Angus beef locally sourced pork, lamb and poultry. We also sell hot and cold filled rolls, deliver hot and cold food,and make our own award winning Steak pies, pies sausage rolls and birdies.
